One of her passions is to be by the sea and within it. Diving, freedive, swimming, dance and, of course, yoga... All of them are for her different versions of the same: to connect with the depth and essence of being that connects with the Whole. And it is what she transmits in her classes.
She is an Experienced Yoga Teacher 500hrs by Yoga Alliance and YACEP in Hatha Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Traditional Hatha Tantra and Aerial Yoga (FlyHighYoga), Fundaments of Traditional Chinese medicine and Mindfulness meditation. Maite has been fortunate to gather more than 1000 certified hours of study with professors of the stature of Mark Stephens, Sarah Powers, Tina Nance, The School of Sacred Arts, Mark Whitwell, Simon Borg-Olivier, among others... Trained in Berlin, Hamburg, Indonesia and India, her passion for work is to contribute to the knowledge of the True Self through practice: "the body is the channel. Through the practice of asana and directed breathing we move energy to connect with "something" much higher that ultimately is who we really are ".

Ash
In my personal life I found yoga as an important tool to prevent burn-out in times of stress. Quite quickly, my practice grew to a much deeper level as I started to understand the incredible healing effect of the mind-body-spirit connection. Yoga created a space for me to open, connect within, find greater clarity and joy in life. I teach from this place of love and gratitude for the practice, hoping to guide others to connect to their own experience of yoga. I love to teach dynamic and fiery flows, as well as slow, soft, nourishing practices. Recognising there is a time and place for both, and the need for balance. I place strong emphasis on the breath to guide students into a moving meditation practice, encouraging yogis to quieten the mind, connect deeper within and finally to soften into stillness.
Anaïs
Vinyasa Ashtanga yoga teacher.
It all started in 2011 when a friend of hers invited him to accompany her to a yoga class in the Retiro park, in Madrid.
Thus she discovered yoga and awakened in her the need to stretch her entire body. At this time she was very focused on running. Then, little by little she realized that yoga not only allowed her to be physically flexible, that there was something else that was changing in her.
What the teacher transmitted caught her attention and she began to read, seek more information about the World of yoga, its philosophy, its history, its origins ...
Her yoga practice began to become more constant and she focused on Ashtanga.
Her deep interest in this yoga and the support of her teacher encouraged him to go to the Mysore Mandala Yogashala school in India to train as an Ashtanga teacher (first series).
She discovered her _dharma_ (the kind of life she wanted to live and why of her) and on her return she began to teach in Tarifa and a new life!
For her, since then each yoga practice is a learning process, for what she can feel with herself, for her wonderful encounters with her students or other teachers, for the infinite universe that is Yoga.
She now teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, a demanding and dynamic practice that she loves for the diversity and freedom that it allows in the development of her classes.
Certified by the Yoga Alliance RCYT200, she performed numerous yoga Masterclasses (Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Rocket, Jivamukti) and practiced in different countries (India, Bali, Costa Rica and France) to deepen her knowledge and enrich her classes.
_ "A yoga teacher is always a student!" _
During the winter season, she teaches ski instructors in Baqueira, but every summer she returns to teach in Tarifa.
Lourdes
“I have been working the body through dance, music and improvised movement for more than 10 years. When I start practicing yoga, I realize the closeness and similarity that I feel between dance and yoga, between stretching and dance movements with respect to stretching and yoga asanas, between the discipline that both entail and respect for oneself and for others. The practice of yoga has helped me to deepen even more in the corporal and mental consciousness as an individual being and the learning and transformation of the individual as a social being ”.
Lourdes Tello is a native of Algeciras (Cádiz) with a degree in Pedagogy from the University of Granada and a Senior Technician in Social Integration. She also has a degree in contemporary dance from the Professional Conservatory "Reina Sofía" of Granada. She continues her dance studies by completing a Master in Girona and researching about the movement offered by the Zappalá company in Catania (Sicily). Years later she studies two years of studies at the "María de Ávila" Superior Dance Conservatory in Madrid . It is in Madrid where he is part of the cast of the collective "Connective tissue" and participates in several dance festivals in the street and in the theaters of the Madrid channel. Simultaneously his studies, working in various dance academies with children and adults. For investigating and continuing to learn the search for movement and body development in other techniques, arts and disciplines lead her to attend a yoga practice and that is when she realizes the union between dance and yoga. The work of balance, flexibility and elasticity, coordination, concentration and perseverance make him hooked on yoga. For this reason, she decides to do the Yoga for Children training at Zentro Urban Yoga Madrid and the Asthanga Yoga and Progressive Yoga Instructor endorsed by the European Institute of Yoga.
Miguel
Based in Algeciras, Miguel del Pino (Vinyasa Flow, Hatha and Acro Yoga teacher) collaborates as a teacher with Maite at Mandalablue Yoga.
Miguel comments on himself and his practice: “Passionate about body movement, I started my Yoga practice with the aim of exploring the connection with my body, learning to communicate with it and express my creativity through movement. Experimenting, in parallel, other disciplines, such as gymnastics, acrobatics and calisthenics and integrating them into my practice. Currently, my practice and methodology is the result of the fusion and integration of these disciplines with a notable influence of different styles of Yoga, such as Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga, Iyengar and even Yin Yoga.
Paying special attention to anatomical precision and the elaboration of progressions to achieve postures and body movements that require more specific work.
All this, without forgetting the true purpose and intention of a Yoga practice. "
Sandra
Sandra Benegas is the second thinking head of Mandalablue in Spain (often the first or the only one… 😉).
Without the help of this very special woman, many of the advances that we are making in Mandalablue Yoga would not be possible. Working "from behind the scenes", Sandra - mother, yogini and exceptional woman - takes care of all the part of organizing courses in the Spanish and neighboring territory, the financial part and the projection of Mandalablue. Sandra is the spring that is anchored in the ground and whose force propels you towards the sky.
Without it, the giant steps that are taken would be unthinkable. In short, she is an essential piece in all the logistics dynamics of Mandalablue in Spain. And hopefully we can enjoy her classes soon ...
Sandra began in Ashtanga, but as she advances in the practice she becomes a greater fan of the deep teachings of traditional hatha yoga, more static and leisurely. She is a fierce learner, a restless yogini who since she began she enjoys every second that she can practice and study. And she to collaborate so that Yoga is implanted in a successful and inspiring way in the heart of each of the people who come into contact with it.
